The Passage
Six chapters, one considered passage.
Every commission unfolds at a deliberate pace. A typical passage — from first brief to the vessel's first season in home waters — runs between twelve and twenty-four months, with the greater part of that time spent in refit at our partner yards in Asia.

Chapter 1
The Brief
A private conversation, held wherever suits the principal — a residence, a yard, a marina, or a quiet office in whichever city they happen to be. Over two or three meetings we compose a written brief covering cruising grounds, guest complement, seasons, ambitions, budget envelope and the constraints that must not be broken. The brief becomes the reference document against which every later decision is measured — and it belongs to the principal, not to the house.

Chapter 2
The Shortlist
A curated set of vessels — never more than six — assembled discreetly on your behalf from the South-East Asian brokerage market. Each entry arrives with independent technical notes, provenance, refit history and an honest view of what the vessel is and is not. Off-market introductions are made through our long-standing partners in the region; nothing is put in front of the principal that has been openly shopped.

Chapter 3
Survey & Negotiation
Independent pre-purchase survey, sea trial and structured negotiation. Our surveyors and maritime lawyers act only for the owner. Escrow, MOA, class continuity, flag transfer and closing counsel are all managed as a single workstream, with a written record of every material point conceded or withheld.

Chapter 4
Refit in Asia
The vessel is brought to a selected yard in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand or Vietnam for refinement — interior architecture, systems refit, class survey, paint and teak. The house maintains a project director on site, weekly written reporting to the principal, and monthly inspections. Programmes typically run from three to twelve months depending on scope.

Chapter 5
Delivery to Home Waters
Onward passage from Asia to the owner's cruising ground — Mediterranean, Adriatic, Northern Europe, the Gulf or the Caribbean — either on her own keel with a delivery crew or as deck cargo aboard a semi-submersible yacht carrier. Flagging, customs, temporary admission and insurance are closed out before the vessel is handed over.

Chapter 6
The First Season
We remain your point of counsel through the first season at sea — crew, itinerary, service intervals, warranty claims, and the quiet questions ownership brings. At the end of the season the house presents a written stewardship report, and the principal decides how, and whether, the relationship continues.
